Case Studies

Good Design Starts with Great Questions.

I believe great design starts with asking the right questions. It’s not about rushing to solutions, it’s about understanding the problem, the people, and the possibilities. These stories show how curiosity asking better questions leads to uncovering what truly matters, solve real needs, and leave a lasting impact (and yes, it saves money too—because that’s always a win).

Converse

A Better Way to Wait. Transforming the digital waiting room into a brand moment.

Role: Lead Product Designers

Challenge
Converse’s high-traffic sneaker drops needed a smoother, branded waitroom experience. The out-of-the-box Queue-It flow didn’t feel like Converse — or their community.

What I Did

  • Branded the wait using Converse’s voice, visuals, and energy

  • Led cross-team collaboration across Queue-It, devs, and internal teams

  • Turned frustration into trust with a launch flow fans actually appreciated

Results
✔️ Fewer crashes
✔️ Shorter wait times
✔️ Stronger fan loyalty

Lesson
You don’t always need to build from scratch. Smart partnerships + great design = standout experience.

IDEO

Designing for People, Not Personas. Co-creating solutions with the Miami community

Role: Lead UX Researcher

Challenge
In Miami’s underserved neighborhoods, mobility isn’t just about transit—it’s about access, dignity, and voice. Traditional research methods weren’t enough.

What I Did

  • Led deep ethnographic research to surface stories that stats miss

  • Presented insights back to the community to build trust and validation

  • Facilitated an OpenIDEO workshop to co-create real, actionable ideas

Results
✔️ One community idea selected and developed
✔️ Residents became active designers, not just subjects
✔️ A stronger, trust-based design process

Lesson
When people see themselves in the process, they show up differently. Research is most powerful when it’s shared back and built upon—together.

Disney

Magic Door: A Design System with Personality. Unifying 72 products without losing the magic

Role: Lead Product Designer

Challenge
Disney’s CDTE teams needed consistency across 72 products, without flattening the unique identity of each team.

What I Did

  • Built “Magic Door”, a multi-theme design system that balanced unity and individuality

  • Blended brand + function with storytelling-driven UI

  • Created templates that made prototyping faster, easier, and more fun

Results
✔️ Prototyping time dropped from 3 months → 2 weeks
✔️ 72 products aligned under one flexible system
✔️
Teams felt seen, supported, and creatively empowered

Lesson
Design systems don’t have to feel rigid. When teams feel celebrated—not standardized—they build with more heart.

Disney AI

Using AI to unlock smarter workflows across the enterprise

Role: Lead Product Designer

Challenge
Design a scalable, internal AI platform that could simplify workflows and prove value across teams, starting with HR.

What I Did

  • Led UX for DisneyGPT, an AI-powered tool designed for real-world workflow impact

  • Built intuitive flows tailored for pilot testing with HR teams

  • Crafted case studies + prototypes to showcase broader enterprise potential

Results
✔️ Operational efficiencies proven in pilot
✔️ Secured exec buy-in for wider rollout
✔️ Created a foundation for scaling AI across departments

Lesson
Innovation sticks when it solves real problems. Start small, show impact, scale with purpose.
